Our client is the leading database and market insight business in the Food Service and Convenience Retail Market. They are growing fast and are looking for new talent to join their friendly team in the role of Account Manager

The successful candidiate's role with include:
- Developing strong, influential partnerships with existing clients, so that the role becomes that of a trusted advisor, able to recommend new marketing and sales initiatives for the customer’s business
- Developing and implement well-planned customer engagement processes to ensure the customer remain close and relationship development
- Maximise new business development opportunities by cold and warm calling potential customers
- Negotiate with customers effectively to ensure profitable growth in new business
- Connect effectively with the account management and support functions to ensure customer service is outstanding

The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a B2B service or marketing communications role, either in-house or in an agency would be helpful, to ensure the right blend of relationship and influencing skills
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent existing client service and account handling skills
- Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent planning, organisational skills, able to manager a customer portfolio effectively
- The ability to work calmly under pressure
- Good IT, organisational, numeracy and literacy skills
