Project Specification Specialist
Our well respected global client has a permanent vacancy for a Project Specification Specialist to join the team. Your role will be to support the specifying team by operating across the organisation to apply best value system solutions.
Proactively collect and collate data required to complete project and specification enquiries.
Create robust project specifications to assist the APM team in project winning.
Undertake first stage project specification assessment through structural analysis and other related calculations.
Ensure new products are supported by robust specification documents in time for UK product launch.
Ensure specification format is current, meeting latest industry regulations and in line with leading architectural formats and norms (NBS etc).
Assist Value Engineer in the preparation of project submissions.
Validate proposals through the relevant technical or commercial resources.
Provide commercial and product support for new accounts during the on-boarding process.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, cross-functional work groups etc. as appropriate
To undertake any other task as required in order to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the company
Able to produce architectural specifications for products.
Fully aware of regulatory and legislative construction requirements.
Strong commercial awareness.
Strong knowledge of structural design and ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Practical knowledge of BIM, Auto CAD, Revit.
Clean UK driving licence
