Learning and Development Manager
We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At The Scout Association we are currently looking for a Learning and Development Manager (Volunteering) to join the based in Chingford, London. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working 35 hours per week and will receive a competitive salary of £39,479 per annum inc OLW plus an excellent benefits package.
About the Learning and Development Manager role
This role is the in house technical expert on volunteer learning and development/training in a large uniformed youth organisation. The role involves advising upon, designing and developing learning opportunities, piloting new learning and developing methods in partnership with Headquarters volunteers and staff to provide our volunteer membership the best support possible. The role will involve working with a wide variety of staff and volunteer colleagues across all departments of the organisation and with volunteers at all levels
What we’re looking for in our Learning and Development Manager
You will have a passion for working with people and willingness to work in partnership with volunteers to develop and deliver learning and development experiences for adult Leaders working with young people. You will be an innovator, a good communicator, a competent project manager with experience of managing and leading teams - who wants to make a real difference. You will have experience of training delivery using a variety of methods and knowledge of working with volunteers, preferable in a youth setting.
