We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join a leading PR agency who specialise in the public sector, charities and NFP sectors. This agency champions social issues like education, training employment, healthcare/mental health and drug/alcohol abuse. The Social Media Manager will head up the agency's digital offering and drive behavioural / perception change by devising innovative social media campaign strategies that resonate and influence target audiences.

The Role
As a Social Media Manager you will play a vital role in implementing content marketing and social media campaigns for a range of government departments, charities, training /trade bodies and NFP organisations.

The successful Social Media Manager will have a passion for current affairs, social issues and be able to harness the power of digital media to engage with key target audiences through compelling story telling and digital assets.

The social media manager will be able to understand the PR campaign process and integrate what the PR teams are doing and amplify it across digital and social media channels to increase awareness, drive engagement and advocacy.

The key areas the Social Media Manager will need to demonstrate their expertise are:
- Digital content creation
- Social media engagement and management
- Community management / moderation
- Seeding content
- Influencer engagement and blogger relations
- Project / campaign management
- Email marketing, desirable but not essential

In addition to digital and social media prowess the successful candidate will also be able to liaise with the PR team to ensure that their campaigns and content is synchronised and integrated across the relevant targeted digital and social media channels.

The successful Social Media Manager will have a passion for PR and social media, possess a good positive energy, a can-do attitude, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and solid understanding of how integrated PR campaigns can achieve the business objectives of clients'.
