To support the administrative duties of the marketing department, with special focus on event planning and the merchandising of a range of catalogues to drive our wholesale channel business. Where appropriate, work on communication plans to support our independent publishing segment, Ingram Spark. This may include, desk research, and the engagement of marketing projects to deliver channel sales growth.
Analyse the catalogue and gain a good understanding of the nature of the titles included.
Conduct research to understand the nature of the UK / European independent retailer base, and how best to communicate with them.
Develop monitoring tools to evaluate the impact of activities.
Liaise with marketing teams in the US as well as UK, in the development of the merchandising plans.
Conduct desk research to better support our independent publishing engagement programme.
Where appropriate, develop and support the creation of tools that enable the sales team to sell more effectively.
Ensure that all relevant company and departmental Health, Safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Any other duties as may reasonably be required.
Occasional travel may be required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint

The expectation is that the candidate will have previous administrative experience and a focus on marketing as a deliverable to sales growth.
Essential Physical Demands

Ability to operate computer equipment, including keyboard and monitor, phone equipment and other necessary office equipment
