Billing Assistant job in Central Bristol, with a competitive salary

You will be working for a large, national Legal firm with offices based in Central Bristol. They currently hold the Investors in People Gold standard, making them a highly reputable business to work for.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective revenue support service, ensuring prompt production and payment of invoices, and ensuring prompt generation and distribution of reports. You will be undertaking complex client billing, preparing billing guides and amendments prior to billing, and providing clear and concise reports relating to billing. You will be required to make recommendations to improve service delivery, undertake ad-hoc tasks as required, and assist with staff expense processing and purchase ledger invoice processing when required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous Billing/Credit Control/Sales Ledger experience, preferably from a professional services background. You will have a good understanding of VAT and VAT rules and the ability to apply these to the working environment. You will also have excellent numeracy skills, be highly organised, and posses strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
