Redex Recruitment are continuing to work with a leading manufacturing and wholesale business based in Braintree, Essex. Due to continued growth within the company they now have a fantastic opportunity available to join the Purchasing Department.
Previous purchasing experience will be beneficial although not essential as my client will provide full training for the right individual. Strong communication skills and confident user of Microsoft office will be required.
Reporting to the Group Purchasing Manager your duties will include:
- Raising/placing purchase orders
- Negotiating purchase prices
- Dealing with various suppliers
- System updates
- Produce daily/weekly reports
- Other ad-hoc tasks when required
Working hours are 8:00am - 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) 1 hour lunch
