My client, a major property company, is looking for a Building Manager to join their team and take responsibility for one of their Manchester City Centre sites. The successful applicant will be responsible for all of the employees and contractors on site, and ensure that all work that is carried out will be to the suitable standard.

Key aspects of the role are:

  • Updating the company dashboard

  • Ensuring all checklists are completed and uploaded onto system

  • Taking responsibility for property presentation

  • Proposing improvements to the property management system

  • Ensure that tenants receive the best possible service

  • Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with all parties

  • Ad Hoc requests from the property surveyor

  • Assisting budgeting and monitoring expenditure

  • Complete year end reports

  • Be principle Health and Safety Officer on the site

  • Take responsibility for promotional work and public relations

  • Conduct staff performance reviews

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Self-motivated

  • Outstanding managerial and communication skills

  • Prior Building/Site management experience

  • Experience managing and supervising contracts

  • Understanding of property management

  • Time management skills

  • Microsoft office experience

  • Ability to liaise with emergency services and local government

This role is full time and permanent, the salary per year is £30,000 to £40,000pa and is 40 hours per week.
