Community Fundraiser, London and the South East - Home-Based

Full time, flexible hours

Circa £26k

Are you a Community Fundraiser looking for an exciting opportunity where you can have real influence and make a big impact?

We are looking for someone like you, to join the Fundraising team of a rapidly growing national charity. Working with the Head of Fundraising you will be responsible for cultivating existing friendships in London and the South East. You will also have an opportunity to forge new relationships; using your passion and commitment to inspire people to get involved.

On a day to day basis you will ensure that local fundraising events and activities are supported and run effectively. You will attend local, regional and national fundraising events in your area, and will be prepared to travel nationally for team meetings and relevant training.

One of the best parts of being a Community Fundraiser is the diversity the role can offer, and you will also be recruiting and working with local volunteers to raise awareness and funds, attending networking events to grow the supporter database and giving talks and presentations to local organisations such as schools, rotary clubs, WIs and other community groups.

Interested applicants will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Good track record in building and managing corporate partnerships

  • Experience in recruiting event participants and managing community fundraising events

  • A self-starting attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good IT skills

  • A passion for building relationships

If you possess these skills and would like to raise an incredible, but realistic, amount of money for a fantastic cause, whilst making new friends along the way then we would love to hear from you.

Please apply at your earliest convenience to Charisma Charity Recruitment.
