High-profile Heritage role for MRICS Project Manager at market-leading consultancy

This high-profile Heritage role, based in Central London, is ideal for a seasoned Project Manager with excellent academic credentials, extensive experience of conservation and listed building projects, and preferably a background in Quantity/Building Surveying, Architecture or Engineering.

This highly-reputable, Central London based consultancy is widely acknowledged to be the market leader in the field of Heritage Projects and their project portfolio comprises some of the UK's, and indeed the world's, most iconic World Heritage Sites.

This exciting role offers an exceptional opportunity to:

  • Take the lead on a range conservation projects which the bulk of the profession can only dream of, including, but not limited to: Palaces, listed buildings, World Heritage Sites, museums and historic monuments.

  • Exercise delicacy and creativity in conducting conservation projects at unique and charismatic listed buildings nationwide.

  • Appoint all contractors, manage the program of work and all elements of H&S, and operate within budgetary and time constraints.

  • Undertake a combination of business development and project design and on-site duties.

  • Engage with clients, many of whom will be Trusts or local authorities, often lacking any sector knowledge. As such, this element is critical to the role.

  • Experience a broad scope of projects, including: sustainability, new builds, fit-outs and listed building compliant restorations.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a background in any of the following: Quantity/Building Surveying, Architecture or Engineering.

  • Command exceptional technical nous as well as an aptitude for client-facing engagement.

  • Have attained a minimum 2:1 at undergrad level in a property/construction related degree.

  • Have extensive experience of working on both iconic

  • Have a minimum of 5 years PM experience in the field of Arts, Heritage and Culture projects.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as diplomacy and business acumen.

  • Be looking to work autonomously within a strong support network.

This role offers a basic salary of between £40,000 - £75,000 with an annual bonus and other excellent benefits.
