Recently formed as a joint venture company between Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust and Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, NETS Ltd aims to deliver high quality Lean training and coaching services to organisations in the health and social care sector.
Building upon the outstanding success of the Quality Improvement Systems developed as part of the North East coalition of NHS Trusts, NETS Ltd already has a substantial portfolio of contracts under delivery and intends to build upon this to create a centre of excellence for the delivery of high quality lean training and coaching to support organisations to transform their patient care delivery.
Reporting to the Board of Directors and accountable to the Chairman, this is a role of extraordinary scope, potential and autonomy for a genuine business leader with strong management, commercial and operational skills. Enjoying full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility, you will develop and deliver the agreed strategy for the business and ensure that realistic profit and growth objectives are met.
This is a hands-on role calling for an experienced, ambitious and charismatic Managing Director with the communication and leadership skills required to deliver outstanding commercial and operational results within the newly formed joint venture company.
Experience in delivering Lean training and coaching to organisations in the healthcare sector is essential.
Above all you will need to demonstrate success at growing a Lean training business in a regulated and quality conscious sector.
Personal credibility, vision, drive and enthusiasm are essential.
The post holder will be responsible to the Board of Directors for the management, direction, development and success of NETS Ltd.
Also responsible for developing, securing and delivering contracts to support the strategic goals of the company to assist other health sector organisations on their Lean transformation journey both nationally and internationally which will generate income and agreed profit margins.
An ability to demonstrate political astuteness and sensitivity to cultural and organisational differences will be essential in order to ensure success.
This role will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with Chief Executives, Directors, Clinical Directors and other key professionals in other organisations to advise and support them on the development of strategies and business plans required to support their Lean transformation journey ensuring contracts are delivered to timescale.
As part of the NETS Ltd team you will be required to deliver training events nationally and the nature of this post means that you will spend significant periods of time away from home.
