The Company
Our client is a medium-sized research agency, who take pride in delivering high quality and insightful work to their clients. They are looking to bring on board either a Senior Associate Director or Research Director to lead one of their most prestigious public sector accounts. This is a pivotal role for them - as it will require someone who can manage several key contacts, work on site with your clients, lead and develop a team and ensure that delivery is of the highest quality.

The Role
In this role, almost all of your time will be focused on the management and development of this account. You will be leading on building up the relationships within the client, upselling, delivering insights and ensuring new business wins from the account. You will be responsible for managing a team of 5 researchers. Around 40-50% of your time will be spent on site. You will be working on a range of topics surrounding transport within London and how it effects various people, working with some hard to reach audiences. Project work includes looking at reducing pollution, congestion and encouraging a safer environment for all.

Key Duties Include:-
- Proposals and pitches
- Overseeing projects and the team members running them on a daily basis
- Pulling out key insights from the findings and delivering these to your clients
- Developing staff and helping them to develop
- Managing client relationships
- Overall account management

Projects are both quantitative and qualitative in nature, but quantitative is the main focus for this role.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and will have a strong research agency background, focused largely on quantitative research. You will have worked in or have a strong interest in public sector research and will be someone who is happy to get stuck in when needed. You will have line management experience and the ability to develop more junior researchers. You will be a strong communicator and will have the ability to build client relationships. You will be someone who can manage multiple projects and enjoys delivering insights to clients.
