Job Title: MAINTENANCE ENGINEER-To is responsible for the management/repairs of all day-to-day operation on company contracts.
Reports to: Responsible Director-Desk Manager/Chief Engineer
Manage and carry out PE (IT) activities.
Attend to all in-house repairs plus manage all activities.
Ensure all relevant documentation is returned to the office on a weekly basis.
Ensure all site records are kept up to date.
Attend regular progress meetings with Hotel Manager and Chief Engineer.
Supervision of technicians and sub-contractors.
Organise estimates etc. for repair work.
Arrange orders for materials with Chief Engineer and be responsible for drive/pickup of such materials.
Manage and carry out all electrical, plumbing and I.T works and repairs as is required within targeted time period.
Liaise with Hotel Manager/Chief Engineer on any additional repair/new work.
Advise/report labour requirements to Hotel Manager/Chief Engineer.
Monitor schedules with Hotel Manager/Chief Engineer, including planned visits by specialists/sub-contractors.
Manage repairs and maintain new installations in PABX, IT room and desktop computers.
Manage and maintain VDA Electronic door systems including changing P.C.B board and readdressing programmes.
Be able to work unsociable hours when H/O IT engineers visit from for progress work and installation.
Manage repairs and maintenance to air conditioner systems and monitor BMS control system.
Responsible for emergency response to fire alarm, lift faults and failures in conjunction with security.
Responsible and able to communicate clearly by telephone with internet, telephone and A/C outside system control engineer.
Make daily reports to Chief Engineer on repairs/works for progress reports.
