Product Marketing Manager
This is a newly created Product Marketing Manager role within a truly global organisation and the undisputed market leader in their field. This role has been created to develop and deploy a customer centric approach to product and category development, delivering innovation and best in class products and service.
As Product Marketing Manager you will have responsibility for telling the world the story behind the brand and products, developing a strong value proposition for an allocated portfolio of products, managing the product range from launch and throughout the life cycle. Working collaboratively with R&D, Sales, Operations and Marketing, as well as customer and end users, you will lead customer research and conceive and develop innovative marketing programs for bringing new demand generating products and features to market.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing pricing, promotion, merchandising and marketing programmes across global territories to deliver growth and profit objectives.
- Conducting market analysis and regular competitor analysis and leveraging superior customer and end user understanding to create competitive advantage. Understand customer needs and translate shopper data into strong customer selling points.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to define guideline and develop a strategic category roadmap.
- Organising and facilitating sales training and developing sales tools and support literature to enable the sales force to present and promote the products and services.
To be considered for this role you must be results driven with proven product marketing experienced gained within consumer durables or semi-durables with high technology and design content. Previous experience of managing global markets and operating within a multinational organisation with a high level of cross functional collaboration is essential. A strong analytical skill set, commercial awareness and outstanding communication skills are all prerequisites. A second language and knowledge/interest in photography are advantageous.
