Due to market growth and high demand Hays Construction and Property are looking for Maintenance Recruitment Consultants to join our successful Construction and Property team in Swindon.
Maintenance is seen as part of the construction industry which is huge and presents plenty of employment and business development opportunities. Construction accounts for around one-tenth of the world's gross domestic product, 7% of employment, half of all resource usage, up to 40% of energy consumption and in the UK it employs over 2 million people.

Initially the maintenance marketplace can seem bewildering, with lots of different types of companies
involved in maintenance of many types of building and engineering works. There are key markets within
maintenance trades which you will regularly supply to:
? Local Authority Direct Labour Organisations
? Hospital estate departments
? University estate departments
? Prisons and Young Offender Institutions work departments
? Housing Association Direct Labour Organisations
? Private sector maintenance companies
Your new role
As a Recruitment Consultant in Swindon you will be within the Construction sector, you will be managing the end to end recruitment life cycle which helps both our clients and candidates achieve a lasting impact. The role includes winning new business and also nurturing existing relationships whilst you will be contacting candidates with expert market knowledge, advertising roles, networking, using our market leading technology to search for candidates on our database and lastly, providing consultative information to all your clients.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a proven track record of success in previous employment, university or education, and you will thrive working in our high performance corporate sales environment. You'll have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal credibly with your clients and candidates building relationships, possessing an inquisitive nature and thirst for knowledge. You are passionate about the Education sector, having worked directly in it or by being able to demonstrate an understanding of it. You'll be ambitious and driven to progress your career quickly, having confidence and developing expertise within the Education specialism. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to achieve successful results.
