BEMS Engineer
Office based role

My client is a Facilities Management company who contract predominantly to supermarkets. They are looking for an experienced BEMS engineer for a 100% office based role in Redditch.

Job Role:
-To investigate Building Energy Management Systems issues utilizing the Trend portal, create daily/weekly reports - automated alarming
-Auditing remotely sites pre and post investment work
-Carrying out pre BEMS PPM review
-Supporting customers ranging from client employees, Service and Maintenance contractors, Installation contractors and company colleagues.
-Offering technical advice for all matters surrounding Verisae, Trend.
-Gathering technical information from Verisae, Trend, understanding trend analysis and sending technical reports to various contractors and the client
ACCOUNTABILITIES

-Responsible for the continual daily technical functions and duties associated with maintaining web based BEMS System
-Create innovative reports suitable for all levels skillsets to fully understand
-Produces work requests and initiates follow-up to ensure timely disposition and close-out of actions.
-Responsible for tracking action items and issues through to resolution
-Assists the Bureau Manager with in the identification of areas for improvement within the Bureau
-Compiles performance reports for contractors and key stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of BEMS covering various manufacturers including Trend, Siemens or Tridium.

-Experience within a professional customer services.
-Understanding of FM and support services contracting and performance measurement and monitoring.
-Understanding and experience of the retail industry desirable.
-Excellent verbal communication skills and good telephone manner.
-IT literate with experience of MS Office applications i.e. Word and Excel.
-Excellent administration and time management skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
-Prepare, evaluate and send technical reports.
Good HVAC knowledge, knowledge of hot and cold water systems, knowledge of renewable energy and basic electrical knowledge
-Hold a valid UK driving license and own transport.
