Account Director - Health PR
This is an Account Director role within a renowned international healthcare communications agency based in the Central London area. This is a company that’s part of a huge global communications network and as such you will enjoy the benefits of working in an environment that is truly international.
This is a client-facing role where the primary function is to direct the company’s largest, PR account, establish strong relationships with key clients, to be responsible for account profitability and to shape the long-term strategic direction of the account. You will be expected to lead and motivate staff to fulfil their potential, undertake line management and participate in recruitment and staff retention initiatives and actively participate in the management team, devising and implementing the business plan.
The agency is looking for somebody who can progress within the organisation, so you must have 5 years relevant experience of working within the healthcare communications marketplace, ideally from within an agency where you will have gathered a firm understanding of prescription-only products and cardiovascular therapy area knowledge would be useful. You should have experience of working in or with medical education, healthcare advertising and digital teams. Team leadership and managing the financial process are also key criteria for the role.
