We currently have an exciting opportunity in our marketing department working as a Marketing Co-ordinator in Chiswick, West London.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiatic and proactive individual to kick start their career in marketing and publishing by joining a friendly, supportive and dynamic team. This role will provide marketing support to our standards sales and subscription solutions department, engaging our audiences across national and international markets in a range of sectors from healthcare and the built environment to oil and gas and aerospace.

The Marketing Coordinator will deliver marketing support in an enthusiastic and collaborative manner, with particular emphasis on all marketing administrative, financial, data, events, renewals and digital activities.

The role requires the holder to:

  • Clean, update and enrich BSI data and manage the opt-in/opt-out process as well as unsubscribes and returns
  • Extract data for campaigns and monitor the use of data to ensure BSI maintains best practice processes and meets the required data protection legislation
  • Digital marketing support including the execution of marketing communications to support renewals and creation of monthly product newsletters
  • Inspire confidence that timely and accurate marketing administration support will be delivered
  • Liaise with numerous departments and stakeholders throughout the BSI Group
  • Understand the department’s commercial objectives, deliver results and make improvements in line with these objectives and marketing plans

About You:

  • Ideally educated to degree level, a marketing qualification or proven interest in marketing is desirable
  • Excellent excel and word skills, SAP, Salesforce and Crystal reporting ideal
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and highly productive environment
  • Must have all-round commercial abilities and knowledge with the ability to keep wider business objectives in mind at all times
  • Numerate and analytical
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must have a "can-do" attitude
  • Must be willing to learn new skills and knowledge
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, action-orientated, positive
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with and support cross-functional teams
