Position: Development and Implementation Analyst
Location: Alfreton
Contract Type: Fixed Term


As a Development and Implementation Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring that you continue to support the Supply Chain function. This role will be pivotal in supporting the journey and implementation of migrating Microsoft Access Databases to the BI Tools or alternative solutions available within the business. This involves liaising with managers within Inventory to understand their needs, analysing and delivering summaries through the new tools.

Key Responsibilities in this role will include;
Supporting the transition to BI (COGNOS) of Supply Chain Support reporting. To include the transition of regular reports, development of new reports and ad hoc data requirements in the COGNOS arena
Understanding and interpreting customer data requirements
Translating customer requirements into specifications for BI tools, including understanding source data cubes and tables
Analyse and summarise reports and data
Applying a continuous improvement mind-set to identify and implement potential improvements in working processes and reports
Communication and engagement of all stakeholders at all organisational levels, of new reporting solutions
Working within a changing business context, adapting to changing business needs and priorities

Key skills and experience in this role will include:
Experience of NHS SC Data Tables and ability to use NHS SC systems to validate results / data (Desirable)
Exposure to Inventory KPI's - Stock turn, Stock Value, Service Level and exception reporting
Individual Contributor - however stakeholder management skills would be an advantage
Junior Professional Level
Educated to Degree standard

The salary is £26k plus an annual bonus of up to 10%, this is a 12 month FTC.
