Payroll Manager for a well known accountancy practice in Chester city centre.

Client Details

With offices across the North West, this practice has been well established for a number of years and has recently seen significant growth over the last few years through bringing on new clients and providing a first class service to customers which has seen them develop a strong reputation.

Description

As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing the payroll function, as well as 1 member of staff. Key duties will include:

  • Processing payroll for around 150-200 clients
  • Updating records for starters and leavers, attachment of earnings and other notifications
  • Submitting statutory payroll on a timely basis including RTI, p32, p60s
  • Managing auto enrolment pension schemes
  • Dealing with payroll queries with clients and HMRC

Profile

To be considered for this Payroll Manager position, you will have the following experience and skills:

  • Strong payroll experience with knowledge of processing high volumes or multiple payrolls
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems such as Sage 50, Star, Snowdrop etc
  • Good understanding of auto enrolment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and good people management skills

Job Offer
