Our client is one of the largest UK specialists in corporate restructuring, recovery and insolvency with over 13 offices nationally. Due to company growth, they are now looking for an Insolvency Administrator to join their team in either their Leicester or Nottingham office. This role will be reporting directly to Line Managers / Case Managers and working on and maintaining a portfolio of cases including ADM's, CVL's, CVA's MVL's.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Progress cases to closure ensuring accurate cost allocation
  • Draft reports to debenture holders / committee / creditors and the court
  • Prepare documentation for statutory meetings (p51, s98, s48, s105)
  • Deal with day to day case correspondence
  • Completion of VAT / tax returns
  • Calculate and arrange payment of dividends to all classes of creditors
  • Liaise with solicitors and professional agents
  • Attend / assist at internal and external meetings
  • Adhere to statutory compliance and current legislation

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent insolvency administration experience
  • Good working experience of administrations, receiverships, CVA's, CVL's, MVL's and all aspects of insolvency casework
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge to day to day case work
  • AAT or part qualified ACCA or working towards the certificate in insolvency would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills


  • Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (1 hour for lunch)

Salary and benefits:

  • £20,000 - £25,000 - dependent upon experience
