Our client is a leading manufacturer of laboratory and medical equipment for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and research sectors. Their products are sold to a wide customer base both in the UK and in overseas markets in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Exports have grown rapidly in recent years, and they now require an experienced Export Sales Manager to further develop their position in the market.

Reporting to the Managing Director the overall objective of the role will be to identify opportunities and increase export sales to both existing and new markets - particularly USA & Africa, as well as supporting the distributor network in overseas territories. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Export Sales

  • Proven success within a Capital sales environment

  • Proven ability to market technical products and services

  • Previous experience selling to export customers via a network of distributors

  • Supporting and developing the distributor network

  • The ability to accurately forecast, plan and deliver growth within the domestic and export markets

  • Knowledge of the laboratory and medical markets would be advantageous but is not essential

The role will involve regular travel overseas.
