Job Title: Field Sales Account Manager - Covering the North
Salary: £27k to £30k basic depending on experience + OTE £35k to £40k

Our client is looking for an additional Field Sales Account Manager due to growth, it's a great opportunity to work with and promote a growing lifestyle clothing brand, they have a fantastic range of products across menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories.


You will be responsible for managing a territory of independent retailers covering the North, your week will involve lots of travel to your account base (approx. 3 appointments per day)

This position involves managing and developing existing retail accounts as well as sourcing new retailers and trade account opportunities. Your role will be to develop relationships with retailers and grow their account in terms of revenue and range of product stocked. You will need to have skills across trend awareness, an understanding of the buying process and demands faced. You will be able to provide first class apparel and product knowledge to grow the relationship and sales through to other product areas and across the business. The position also involves proactive attendance at both UK and International trade shows, dealing with customer queries and effective time management.

Candidate Specification:

Previous field sales experience isn't necessary but you do need to have a winning personality to build rapport with your customers, the ability to communicate and liaise at all levels, a strong work ethic and the ability to manage your own time effectively and the ambition to earn an excellent salary. An interest in action sports such as Surfing, Sailing, Cycling, Windsurfing, Outdoor sports etc would be useful to have an affinity with the brand.

You will need a high level of drive, trend awareness and knowledge of all areas of clothing & footwear. Strong product development, price negotiation and technical understanding are also required as is an affinity for the brand. This is a challenging role which will involve extensive travel to your client base throughout the North, so candidates need to be highly motivated and passionate about clothing in order to achieve results.

Working hours - Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm - with 6 to 8 weeks & weekends per annum at Trade Shows
