Full Time Permanent Contract salary £50000-£60000k pa dependent upon experience plus benefits.

As we continue to grow our Cancer Network with our exciting new openings including; our latest London Bridge Campus development the Guys Cancer Centre, new Leaders in Oncology care treatment centre in Chelsea and the Lister Hospital expansion of 2 new Oncology wards, all opening in May 2017, we have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Practice Development Lead Oncology Nurse to be based in our Learning and Development Team. You will lead on Oncology education for new and existing nurses within the HCA Healthcare UK group.

Job Description - Practice Development Nurse Educator - Oncology

The successful candidate will be passionate about developing oncology nursing practice and share our values of employee development.

As an expert oncology nurse lead you will lead and develop a cancer services programme of in-house specialist training to ensure our employees have a full range of up-to-date skills, knowledge and experience in their specialist areas. This may include oncology competences from initial induction, mandatory training through to advanced nursing.

Skills & Experience

Desired skills and experience:

  • Oncology specialist nurse with passion for education, up to date knowledge of clinical cancer care pathways, oncology courses from preceptorship, mandatory training to advanced nursing.
  • NMC Registered Nurse, Qualified educator (ENB 998 or equivalent)
  • Classroom and bedside oncology nurse training experience
