Key Account Manager

Salary: £24,000 Basic + Realistic OTE of £35K

Location: Old Trafford

Flexible working hours of Monday to Friday 11:00am - 8pm to service the US

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a global media services organisation currently looking to add to their Manchester based offices due to growth and expansion. You will be given a portfolio of new and existing client account for you to manage who will be based in America which include well known global brands so you will need to be confident speaking to key decision makers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The role is working flexible hours of 11am to 8:00pm, 12pm-9pm & 1pm-10pm and as such all applicants must be capable of working these hours
  • Taking responsibility for newly signed and existing clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients on a daily basis by telephone and email
  • Ensure your portfolio of clients are looked after and receiving the best service possible
  • Maintaining clear, concise and up-to-date client records using our in-house customer manager database, including up-to-date contract details and relevant historical information
  • Managing your clients throughout their project and dealing with any queries or concerns
  • Building valuable relationships, both internally and externally
  • Liaising with key departments to maintain strong communication channels
  • Gaining a high level of knowledge of our products to maximise personal effectiveness through client retention

Requirements for this opportunity:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, client service role
  • Effective personal organisation skills; self-starter with drive, ambition and creativity
  • Highly organised, methodical and dedicated to first-class customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills - you’re enthusiastic and know how to interact with a team and clients
  • An understanding of the fast-moving B2B market
  • Good listening and writing skills and an ability to speak articulately and confidently
  • Strong initiative - you’re motivated by targets and tight deadlines
  • Can identify and exploit potential vertical sales opportunities - and know how to close a deal
  • Ability to work under pressure with a constant positive outlook when being faced with complex client issues
