Reed Education Hammersmith are currently working with a wonderful school on an exciting new role in the Surrey area.
Starting from September, 2017, the school are looking for an outstanding Teacher of Design and Technology to join them on a permanent basis.

The Role:

• You will be working closely with the highly supportive Design and Technology department, maintaining outstanding results and promoting the subject throughout the school.
• You will teach up to KS4, engaging and motivating pupils to reach their highest potential.
• You will be expected to plan, evaluate and assess work in accordance with departmental policy.
• Ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being.
• Be accountable for pupils’ attainment, progress and outcomes.
• Have a secure knowledge of subject curriculum areas, foster and maintains pupils’ interest in the subject and address misunderstandings.

What you will need:

• Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, QTLS or NARIC approved.
• Experience teaching Design and Technology in UK Schools.
• Be committed to your work, students and the school.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrate high level of skills to ensure very good teaching and learning.
