Product Marketing Manager - High-end Luxury Beauty - London

We are working with a very exciting British luxury brand, this is a growing business with a unique positioning. Considered at the height of luxury and recognised for their aspirational and bespoke products across homewares and interior design, the brand have recently launched a new fragrance line. We are looking for solid 360 marketing expertise, combined with experience of NPD and strong conceptual skills across product innovation to further develop this already very succesful brand.

The Role

The Product Marketing Manager is to support the research, execution and development of the new product development strategy across product and experience as it applies to the perfume business, delivering innovative product development programmes that enable the business to meet its strategic and commercial goals.

The individual will support the development, implementation and activation of the new product development plans to support the UK, European and Rest-of-World markets; and ensure effective departmental and cross-functional planning and communication are in place that enable improved product development practices and help the organisation deliver initiatives on time, within cost constraints to requirements and reflecting the brands extremely high standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with the Consumer Marketing Manager to execute and implement the overall new product development plans to support the three-year brand and commercial goals of the business. The Product Marketing Manager's particular focus encompasses:
o Product development strategy, supporting the three-year product development plans, ensuring the business is working far enough ahead to be able to invest the time and research into all development plans
o Working with manufacturers and supplier partnerships on strategic concept creation, through feasibility, development and execution in conjunction with all commercial business goals
o supporting the co-ordination of the overall pricing strategy and annual development of newness including retailer exclusives strategy
o Supporting the Global Training Manager with new product development information regarding ingredient sourcing, ingredient extraction methods, perfume concentration, complexity and general new product information
o Supporting the development of new product development story lines including core product information that can be used to drive and support every aspect of the business (super doors; distributors and digitally) developing supporting assets - to best meet business growth and market requirements
o Working closely with the Consumer Marketing Manager working with the fragrance house to create new perfumes and formats, develop fractions, line extensions, ancillary products and partner exclusives. Identifying perfume trends and opportunities for core market development
o NPD and operational processes to support the execution of robust process that will enable timely and accurate launch planning, cost management and supplier relationships in partnership with the operations team and NPD Project Manager
o Working closely with the Marketing & Events Coordinator working with the PR agencies to anticipate the new product development launch plans
* Support the execution of the annual marketing plan for the UK, European and ROW markets which will include and plan:
o Brand outreach plans to grow brand awareness and engagement
* Working with the brand marketing team to coordinate the delivery of a cohesive, consistent brand experience across all touchpoints and geographies
* Supporting the continuous analysis of competitive environment, consumer trends and the effectiveness of our product portfolio and marketing programmes to improve MROI and encourage a culture of consumer/customer focus and continuous improvement
