Working for a charity based in Peterborough, you will be responsible for all things accounts for the charity and the limited company. This small charity that works within a niche environment is a small and friendly team - and they need to find someone with the right work ethic and attitude to compliment that team.

You will be working across the business on all elements of the financial administration - from sales and purchase ledger, to bank reconciliations, VAT returns, standardised reporting right up to year end. You will be advising on and controlling income, setting and managing budgets for expenditure so a true all round generalist accounts position.

You will be AAT qualified, and have worked in a similar role using SAGE accounting. Team fit is key - as a small business the team are often required to roll up their sleeves and take on additional duties. They work really closely and support each other where they are able to. You will have solid Excel skills. You will be used to managing your own role with minimal supervision, reporting into the Managing Council members, particularly the finance director. You will receive a generous salary - working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, with a 4pm finish on a Friday. A really interesting and fulfilling role with a great team.
