Job Title: EPOS Trainer
Job Purpose: To take ownership of all training-related activities and materials within the EPOS department
Reports to: Implementation Manager
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 pa + benefits

Key Result Areas:
• To prepare and deliver classroom-style training sessions to internal staff and customers
• To deliver one-to-one training sessions on-site or over the phone with customers
• To maintain and update written training materials including documentation and online wiki-style articles
• To produce high-quality videos for explanation, tips and new features
• To proactively keep up to date with changes to the software and plan the training schedule ahead of upcoming releases
• To maintain accurate training records, ensuring all supporting documentation is kept up to date
• To achieve and maintain professional standards across all aspects of the role in respect of work undertaken, and deal with staff at all levels of the business and external contacts in a manner appropriate to their needs

Job Knowledge & Experience:
• Experience in delivering software training
• Good base knowledge of MS Office packages
• Ability to be able to create and deliver training sessions to a range of audiences
• Experience of producing video tutorials

Specific Areas of Work:
• Produce training materials and user guides
• Organise & conduct system overview and training sessions to customers and internal staff
• Produce high-quality videos for the purposes of tutorials, tips and feature demonstrations
• Proactively organise all training material and activities around the software release schedule
• Seek out and produce best practice guides for in-store EPOS usage
• Advise on future developments to improve the EPOS system
• Review/QA system modifications and update training manuals and user guides as relevant
• Assistance, support and training on-site to be provided as and when required
• Occasionally visit customers to provide extra training and support

Job Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively deliver training to meet requirements
• Ability to create clear and concise documentation and reports
• Ability to create videos (experience of Camtasia would be ideal)
• Ability to deliver potentially complex subject matter in an easy to understand manner
• Experience of EPOS would be a benefit
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to manage own workload and identify areas where improvement can be made and training would be beneficial
• Flexibility with some travel required (driving licence required, company vehicle can be provided when required)
