A global FMCG business are recruiting a Supply Planner on a 6 Month FTC. Applicants need supply chain planning expertise within a large organisation, have MRP/ERP or business systems experience (SAP, Oracle, JDE etc.) and be analytically minded.

Working as part of a large and diverse Supply Chain function, the Supply Planner will be responsible for delivering supply chain planning strategies across the EMEA region. This is a fixed term contract position, which will run until the end of 2017.

Specific duties of the Supply Planner include:

1. Deliver supply chain replenishment plans
2. Manage inventory and SKU levels across multi-site locations
3. Identify supply chain risks and escalate material shortages
4. Ensure adequate stock / inventory levels to support NPI activities
5. Track shipments to customer arrival
6. Contribute to the development of distribution and transport strategies
7.Capture, Present and Communicate Supply Chain data to stakeholders
8. Support the development of end-to-end supply chain, and inventory strategies
9. Contribute to the development of demand plans and communicate these
10. Support best practice, and process improvement within the Supply Chain function

Supply Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

1. Supply Chain Planning (Demand, Supply, Forecasting, Replenishment) experience within a FMCG, or global business
2. Excellent MS Excel skills, or experience using MRP/ERP or business system such as SAP, Oracle, JDE
3. Analytically minded
4. The ability to foster excellent stakeholder relationships across EMEA region
5. Degree educated, graduate calibre or a Supply Chain qualification - desirable
