Purchase Ledger Clerk
I'm currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk in Redditch. Client is looking for an warm and enthusiastic candidate who will be able to grow with the business.
1. Starting Salary is £20,000.00 (negotiable depending on candidate)
2. Study Support options are negotiable
3. Free car parking
4. 33 days annual leave
5. Working hours are very flexible.
No set start / finish time as long as you complete 8 hours per day
A growing UK business with over 25 years of experience in the industry.
- Process a high volume of invoices (up to 250 per week), reconciling purchase orders to invoices received
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
- Preparing and scheduling supplier payment runs
- Resolving any supplier/invoice queries
- Accounts Payable experience
- Great interpersonal and communications skills
- Good team working skills
- High level of accuracy
- An aptitude for IT - knowledge of software packages like Excel & Sage 200
