Sheridan Maine are working exclusively with a client in Bournemouth who are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to manage the day to day supplier accounting function.

Key day to day responsibilities will include:

- Coding and checking purchase ledger invoices - 1000+ per month.
- Reconciling payments.
- Maintaining supplier details.
- Dealing with supplier queries via the phone and email.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Preparing the BACS payment runs.

The ideal candidate will have proven accounts experience within the purchase ledger function, Sage software knowledge along with good attention to detail and excellent communications skills.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
