This is a well established and expanding communications organisation who, due to increase in workload, are seeking a part time Assistant Accountant to join their team on an immediate and permanent basis.
Your new role
This is a permanent, part time accounts assistant role and your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Enter and process purchase and sales invoices on XERO
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Chasing outstanding invoices
- Bank reconciliation
- Make payments from XERO and manage remittances
- Timesheet reconciliation
- Manage supplier payments
- Chasing sales invoices
- Producing monthly management accounts, CIS & PAYE/VAT summaries from the system
- General adhoc support
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, it would be highly preferred if you had an excellent working knowledge of XERO accounts package and be comfortable in using this. You should have 3 years of experience working within a finance environment and be able to be extremely adaptable.
What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a salary of up to £25,000 (full time equivalent) and receive an excellent package. You will be able to work flexibly, part time either over 3 days or between school hours.
