An exciting role has become available for and experienced Architectural Project Manager to join a major national company based in the South East of England.

The main function of this role is to provide specification sales and secure projects for customers, working closely with architects and to proactively develop new and existing business.

Ideally you will have a construction, iron mongery, roofing , windows or flooring background. You need to be highly customer focused and albe to hold you own in a technical drawing environment.

Key tasks:

To obtain leads on potential new customers and embed company specifications with commercial architects, specifiers and main contractors
Develop and maintain long-term business relationships
Identify and and secure new business from targeted specifying outlets
Provide ongoing technical support to customers, architects and contractors
Update architectural practices on new developments and products within the company portfolio
Liaise with commercial colleagues to maximise potential business development opportunities
Set up and attend project meetings ensuring that management systems are keep updated on the project status
Proactively maintain an up to date knowledge of company products, market trends and competitors
Attend training, exhibitions, meetings and seminars as required.

As the Architectural Project Manager you will have the following essential skills:

A proven record of successful business development with architects, particularly with matters relating to the commercial markets
Familiarity with the construction industry and the technical and commercial processes
Experience of managing technical queries, including producing outline technical drawings unaided
Commercial awareness and judgements
Proven ability to meet goals and challenge competition
An eye for details and natural creativity
Excellent time management skills
Proficient in all MS Office systems

Must have a full clean driving licence and live within the South East of England.
