An opportunity has arisen to join a small Finance Team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

You will be working within a small team and will need to ensure that supplier invoices are authorised and approved in accordance with Company Procedures and take ownership for creditors payments.

You will be capable of confidently handling all queries therefore good communication skills, problem solving capability, ability to lead and decision making are highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Registering/matching high volume supplier invoices
- Handling enquiries and payment issues
- Reconcile / analyse supplier statements
- Produce weekly forecasts
- Prepare payments
- Other ad hoc admin duties

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred
- Flexible with a "can do " attitude
- Microsoft Office skills including Excel
- Ability to meet tight deadlines

Hours: Mon to Fri 9am-5pm
Salary £17,500 to start.
