My client is a recognised brand throughout the UK, they are looking for a new addition to their internal sales team based in Leeds where you will be working as part of a team responsible for the generation of new business through qualified leads. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive to join a growing business who provide a friendly working environment where you have autonomy over your role along with the ability to earn great bonus. The successful applicant will have experience of working in a telephone based sales role, you will be target driven with a desire to succeed in sales.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Increase business generation utilising a combination of inbound and outbound telesales
  • Take responsibility for individual sales, logging call backs to ensure initial interest is converted within the timeframes set
  • Ensure you remain up to date with the full range of products and services available
  • Ongoing update on the internal database and logging all necessary information
  • Undertake any other duties which reasonably fall within the remit of the role
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of competitor activity
  • Achieve individual sales target

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience of selling products and services to SMEs through telephone sales
  • Experience of cold calling as well as following up on warm leads
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience of CRM systems
