Marketing and Business Development Manager | Professional Services | London
My client is an award winning and Internationally renowned Professional services firm with a truly innovative and forward thinking approach to market. They are looking to recruit an exceptional Marketing and Business Development Manager. This combined role supports 2 high profile service lines (Private Equity and Corporate Finance) and will help shape, drive and be principally accountable for the delivery of business development, sales and marketing activity.Working closely with the business and the wider BD team to develop and embed Business Development initiatives and key Marketing campaigns - in conjunction with the service line leadership, sector groups and local offices.The role focus on developing and delivering the Sales and Marketing plan in the remainder of 16/17 and into the next period of growth. Key responsibilities:
-Business development leadership including development of go-to-market strategy (weaving in wider approach to include issue based targeting focus) across the firm
-Business planning and leveraging other sector expertise to communicate to the market eg manufacturing, retail, technology
-An absolute focus on linking and leveraging relationships across all market channels to identify and develop growth and investment opportunities (outsourcing, internal audit, cyber security, tax, etc.)
-Key account management to support strategic targeting of opportunities and follow up
-A market facing role, incorporate trend spotting and leveraging national thought leadership to create further opportunities to deepen relationships
-Develop and plan branding and perception campaign to increase penetration within entrepreneurially minded UK companies
-Coordinating target relationships, introductions and opportunities through pipeline management
-Project manage continuing development of supporting marketing collateral and event programme

The successful candidate will be/have
An experienced marketing and business development manager - with significant experience at management level
Proposals management experience
Competitor analysis experience
Highly organised in project management, planning and scheduling
