Band 8a Clinical Psychologist for Children and Young Peoples Service - Stoke Area - Up to £47,559 plus Benefits

A position has become available for a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist in the Stoke Area. This is working with a fantastic organisation who focus on NHS funded intensive mental health packages and residential placements for complex young people and young adults.

The aim of this organisation is to offer therapeutic support to young people, often trying to make the transition from inpatient or secure settings to suitable community locations, and aim to support them to maintain these community placements. they tend to predominantly specialise in young People with Personality Disorders and/or complex PTSD.

You will join the multi-disciplinary team which included other psychologists, family therapist, Psychiatrists and Nurses. However, you will have a considerable autonomy in shaping and developing the role for yourself.

The requirements for this role are as follows,

- Band 8a Clinical Psychology (will consider a Band 7 on preceptorship)
- Doctorate in Psychology and live HCPC
- Experience working with children and with young adults
- 2 or more distinct psychological therapies
- Driver

This is a 9-5 Monday to Friday role with some degree of flexibility expected. the Salary is between £39,632 and £47550 and you will be offered the following benefits,
