If you are a finance professional with strong people management skills then this could be an excellent opportunity for you! Working within group finance, you will lead the team.

The team functions as a shared service centre processing all of the groups purchase invoices, matching cash receipts to sales and maintaining the groups day to day banking activities - payments, receipts, controls and reconciliations. The role will report direct to the Group Finance Director.

You will have full line management responsibility, including oversight, development and recruitment as necessary, for a team made up of 15 colleagues. You will be responsible for Day to day work allocation across the team, ensuring processing is maintained at a level which supports the business.

You will also support the team in working to an agreed set of KPI's including level of historic invoices not processed, level of open price/invoice queries, level of supplier statements reconciled, monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts, collection of rebate and other debtors and posting of all completion monies on a daily basis.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of managing and leading an operational finance team, excellent communication skills including an ability to influence others with a proven ability to engage and motivate an operational team.

A Finance qualification is not essential, but experience of working in a central Finance team covering some of the areas of responsibility are crucial.

As the business is growing at a rapid rate and posting fantastic results there is a genuine possibility that a candidate that does well can stay and move into a permanent role at the end of the contract.
