Very well established and growing financial services organisation based in the centre of Bath are looking to recruit a Credit Control Manager to provide a proactive credit control service to the business by leading and managing the day to day activities of the Credit Control Team

Role and Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for the overall portfolio management and collection of all overdue debt, whilst personally dealing with complex transactions and/or the recovery of larger debts
  • Team management responsibilities for a team of 5 including the management of appraisals/reviews, staff rotas, annual leave and team meetings
  • Working alongside the litigations team to handle complicated/escalated calls
  • Building, strengthening and improving customer relationships
  • Developing and maintaining credit control policies and procedures
  • Attend and contribute to weekly meetings with the Legal Manager
  • Providing summary and detailed monthly reports to the wider management team

Requirements for this role;

  • You will ideally have had previous similar management/team leader experience within a Credit Control or Customer Service environment
  • Experience of working within the financial services sector/FCA regulated environment would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with excellent time management skills
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly explain financial information to the wider business team
  • Ability to investigate complex issues and show tenacity when resolving problems
  • You should be able to demonstrate evidence of building strong relationships and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
