Our client is a leading innovative Golf Club based in the heart of Surrey. They are currently looking to recruit a driven, passionate Wedding and Events Coordinator to join their team.


  • To be the main point of contact for all wedding and events and to effectively plan, manage and oversee all catering activities for weddings and events.
  • To be here on the day of the wedding or event, overseeing the setup and running the day


  • To take responsibility for the organisation of all wedding & event bookings once a complete sales file is handed over from the Sales manager.
  • Plan and oversee all weddings and events, via professional liaison with the event host, suppliers and staff alike.
  • To delegate the running of smaller events to the department Supervisor after briefing them in advance.
  • To respond in a timely manner to any queries or questions that event hosts might have.
  • To produce detailed function sheets so that all parties fully understand all event requirements.
  • To act as Duty Manager as and when required and in the absence of the line manager.
  • To ensure that all customers are satisfied with the function or event, dealing with special requests, issues and complaints if and as they arise.
  • Ensure that during the running of an event, customers are served in the correct manner by professional and friendly staff.
  • To liaise with the line manager as to the implementation and enforcement of all applicable company policies and operating procedures.
  • To be aware of and keep up to date with all sales and marketing incentives that the club may be running at any given time.
  • To keep up to date with current wedding and party trends

The ideal candidate will need a minimum of 6 months experience running large scale Wedding events. You must be organised, a strong communicator and extremely engaging.
