Robertson Bell are recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a reputable health charity based in Central London. This opportunity is a great step for progression and growth within a career

The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts for the fundraising department specifically but also other areas and assisting in the production of the annual budgets. The Management Accountant will also be responsible for producing and publishing the monthly journals and overseeing the reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheets. they will liaise with staff members of the fundraising department and be a key point of contact for financial advice. This role will manage up to 2 staff and also work towards assisting the Head of Finance with control accounts and year-end work.

The successful candidate will ideally be a ACCA/CIMA/ACA finalist with strong financial acumen who is able to build effective relationships across organisations. The Management Accountant will combine strong technical skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will have an aptitude for communicating complex financial information to non-finance staff and proactively engaging budget holders. Any experience of working alongside a fundraising team in a financial context would be beneficial but is not essential. Use of Sun accounting will also be an additional bonus but is not a requirement.
