JS Recruitment are working with a market leading Engineering specialist who trade globally, they now require a Purchasing & Production Administrator to join their successful team based in the HD2 area of Huddersfield.

This is a varied role which supports the Engineering team with a variety of duties and would suit candidates who have worked in similar environments previously.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Purchasing & Production Administrator duties are broken down as follows: Purchase Ordering for all department

Goods in Control / Allocation WIP

Stock Control Long lead item stock control

Liaising with Suppliers

Annual Stocktakes and report

Production / Long lead item document management

NCR reports

SharePoint database management

Create and manage all product documentation as required

Build Instructions & SOP’s

Generate required Shipping / Packing documentation

Co-ordinate with Finished Goods Packing, Shipping Dept & Customer

SharePoint database management

Co-ordinate with Customer as required

Arrange flights / Hotels / Expenses

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience within a purchasing and manufacturing environment preferred Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

Strong attention to detail and focus on quality

Good time management and the ability to manage several tasks at once Willingness to learn and develop self

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Pro-active and self-motivated

IT literate, competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages
