This is a fantastic inner city primary school full of bright, talented and friendly children who seek a Nursery teacher to join them on a permanent basis from September 2017. You will be leading a group of mixed ability Nursery children of around 28-30 children. You will deliver high standards of teaching and learning and work collaboratively alongside the other Nursery teacher to ensure high standards are consistently met. Your lessons will be engaging, inspiring and motivating for the children. Within class you will be supported by a Graduate Teaching Assistant. As an NQT joining the school you will be enrolled onto the outstanding Islington NQT programme which happens to be one of the best within the London Boroughs. You will be supported an excellent NQT mentor who will ensure that your teaching career gets off with a bang!

The Nursery teacher will be a dependable, resilient, hard working and energetic teacher who has been graded ‘Good/Outstanding’ through observations through University or through your current school. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching within an Inner city primary school as there is a high proportion of children who speak English as an additional language and a high proportion of children coming from extremely challenging backgrounds/circumstances. The Head is looking for a Nursery teacher who has excellent communication skills and is able to offer something unique to the team.
