Location: Rochdale

Salary £18,000 - £25,000 Basic, £50,000 OTE + Benefits

We are pleased to be recruiting for one of Europe’s leading IT Hardware distribution companies that are rapidly growing and expanding. The business is currently seeking an ambitious, driven and hard working Account Manager now looking for an exciting role in a business which will; train, nurture and develop your skills.

You will be given a portfolio of existing client accounts that you will be building and maintaining relationship with the aim to cross sell and up sell where possible as you will be rewarded with commission for every sale you bring in (no thresholds), offer extra bonus' for over performance and more! This is an ideal role for any Account Managers with the right attitude and determination looking for a company to give you a chance to prove yourself.

The Role:

  • Full on the job training will be provided, followed by on-the-job coaching with a senior member of the sales team
  • You will manage existing and new customer accounts in France and Spain
  • You will be building and maintaining relationships with existing clients who place regular orders so that you receive consistent commission
  • You will be calling new leads to develop new business
  • You will be working as part of the companies business to business sales team in a wide and varied role
  • All of your customers will be in the IT sector, they will have an idea of what they want and will be looking for you to provide a competitive price with a quick turnaround
  • It will be your job to calculate costs, negotiate deals, close deals and ensure the customer receives a service which is second to none
  • You will be given data to use to generate some new business
  • The company prides itself on their high levels of customer retention and this is all down to the excellent service the sales team provide, the extensive stock the company has access to and the speed in which they can deliver to their clients.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous sales experience in the IT sector selling IT Hardware
  • You will be someone who is naturally confident, a natural rapport builder who enjoys talking to people and people enjoy talking to you
  • You will have the confidence to pick up the phone and make contact with business decision makers who you haven't spoken with before
  • You will be ambitious, money motivated and now looking for a company who can invest their time in you so that you can build on your existing skills
