Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a well known business based in Sheffield. Due to growth and expansion, they are currently seeking an immediately available ambitious Accounts Assistant to work within their busy finance team on an on going temporary basis with a view for a permanent role for the right individual. This is a great opportunity for a progressive and determined AAT studier looking to further their career in finance.

Accounts Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintaining accurate banking reconciliation
- Maintenance of purchase and ledger invoices
- Allocating payments to accounts
- Resolving issues and dealing with queries
- Posting Journals
- Credit Control duties and aged debt reporting
- Budget preparation and follow-up in liaison with other non finance colleagues
- Use of Excel on a daily basis

To be successful for this role you will have the following:-

- AAT Part Qualified
- Have the ability to work pro-actively within a team
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Possess good organisation skills
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to deal with customers and external contacts

This will be a varied role which will report directly into the Financial Controller and will ideally suit someone looking to gain more exposure in accounts whilst doing their further studies.
