My client school is hugely popular with parents from the local community in Wandsworth. It has a brilliant reputation for excellent academic results and pastoral care. The school is 2 form entry and is situated in a large Victorian building with extensive grounds to accommodate a playground for each Key Stage. There are excellent transport links close by making the school easily accessible from most parts on London and Surrey.
The Headteacher would welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified class teachers who have high expectations for all children and will not let any child be left behind. There is a very strong teaching team in place who work cohesively and every member of staff has a lead mentor to help them settle into their new role and provide regular support and guidance to teach to a high standard. There are opportunities for experienced class teachers to take on a Team Leader Responsibilities. Newly qualified teachers can expect to be part of the Wandsworth and Richmond training cluster and full direction and leadership by an experienced NQT mentors in school.
