Global manufacturer recruiting for a qualified Financial Controller to manage their UK finance operations.

This leading Global manufacturing business operates in a niche market, providing high-quality goods to a wide range of customers. The UK operations are based in Leicestershire and have a need to recruit a qualified Financial Controller to manage their finance team, reporting to an overseas Head Office.
Your new role
Your new role will be to manage the finance team in the production of timely and accurate financial information, providing financial analysis and value-add information to the business and it's operational leaders to support and promote organisational growth. As well as managing the local finance team, you will maintain a key relationship with an off-shored FSSC and as such experience of working with an overseas support function is imperative.
Other key duties will include the improvement of processes and procedures, inventory control, budgeting and forecasting, margin and cost control, statutory reporting and tax.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a qualified Financial Controller with experience of working with an overseas SSC and managing challenging relationships. You will be a strong business partner, able to support operational managers across all areas within the business and strong technical and commercial experience are a given.
