Finance Process Improvement Manager | 18 month FTC | London | circa £55,000 p/a

My client - a global telecoms brand - is seeking a Finance Process Improvement Manager to join their London office on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract basis.

The purpose of this Finance Process Improvement Manager role is to drive improvement of finance systems and processes across the Group, in order to achieve best in class delivery of financial information.

The ideal Finance Process Improvement Manager candidate will be ACA (or equivalent) qualified, with excellent knowledge of several market-leading financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across all geographies to review and assess systems capability.
  • Provide analysis of opportunities to improve current processes, ways of working, and systems.
  • Recommend changes to achieve best-in-class performance incl. analysis of market-leading solutions, development of ROI and business case to effect change.
  • Engage & influence stakeholders from Board level to Analysts and across Finance and Tech
  • Drive implementation of any new system or enhancements to current systems, with responsibility for training, transition and embedding within all geographic locations.
  • Work with Finance team to identify and deliver efficiencies, standardisation and automation to remove errors and drive down costs in Finance function

Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise of multiple market-leading financial systems
  • Experience of managing, implementing, or designing shared service finance functions an advantage
  • Proven experience of driving process and systems change
  • Demonstrable track record of influencing at senior level in matrix organisations
  • Previous experience in a revenue driven organisation currently looking at new markets and change orientated organisation
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environments
  • University educated (Russell Group desirable)
  • Accounting qualification essential (ACA or equivalent)
  • MNO or MVNO experience desirable
