Retail Designer from Architecture or Interior Design background required for inhouse design team role.
Your new company
This leading retail organisation is experiencing a period of tremendous growth and is in the process of expanding its portfolio in the UK and internationally - notably in Europe and the Far East. The firm has large HQ offices based just north of Manchester City Centre, close to motorway links and offering car parking on site.
Your new role
Working within the well established Property Team you will be taking a lead in the design and technical delivery of new retail outlets in locations across Europe. The role will involve engagement with a wide range of stakeholders and attendance at design group meetings in order to ensure schemes are delivered on time. You will be taking projects from brief through to completion, and will be using AutoCAD on a regular basis to produce the relevant working drawing packages for contractors.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have proven experience working in an inhouse retail design office or within a design consultancy who specialise in retail schemes. You should have proven experience at all stages of the design process, and will be a proficient AutoCAD user and be able to produce high quality visuals using 3D software. A strong understanding of construction and building regulations is required, and you should also hold an EU passport as travel will be required with this role.
What you'll get in return
You would be working within an exciting large employer who can offer great benefits and staff offers, plus the opportunity to further your career in line with their expansion.
